Purely Local KZN

Dear lovely humans,

May I make puns about the month of May? I may! Welcome to the latest edition of our Purely Local KZN. As always, I am so excited to share another edition filled with inspirational stories, ideas, and places to go and see and to showcase the spirit, heart and soul of our beautiful community.

This edition is particularly special, because, if you haven’t noticed by now, we have a very special fold-out cover for the beautiful Seaton Estate. If you haven’t paid them a visit, well, you best hurry! In this magazine, you will find stories that will both inspire you to be and do better, as well as jump off that couch and explore all that KwaZulu-Natal has to offer.

Embodiment and intimacy coach – Derryn Scott shares her thoughts on overcoming fear. I spoke to Meg Carrie, the creator of Cards for Conversation – a pack of cards that are itching to be the centrepiece of your dining room table. In between putting this edition together, I found some time to hit the road and explored the wonders of Winterton, a hidden gem in the foothills of the Drakensberg. We’ve got stories on local businesses and people for you to support, adventures to embark on, events to attend and as always people that you’re going to want to meet.

As you page through this magazine, I hope you will be inspired by the incredible people and stories that make our community so special. We hope you will be reminded of the power of connection, of coming together to support one another, and of the importance of working towards a shared vision of a better future.

So grab a glass or cup of whatever tickles your fancy, put your feet up and enjoy the read.

Thank you for being apart of our community, and for sharing in our journey. We look forward to continuing to grow and thrive together.

‘Till next time.
