Purely Local KZN

Welcome to the latest edition of our Purely Local KZN and the first of 2023! I don’t know about you all, but it feels like this year is just flying by. Can you believe we’re in March already? Speaking of March, that means we’re embracing the autumn season and to be honest, I’m rather sad to see summer is coming to an end. Us Durbanites are incredibly spoilt with the most beautiful weather all year round, but particularly during the warmer months!

Ok, enough about the weather, let’s go back to this beautiful edition we have put together for you. Once again, our magazine is jam-packed with stories that will inspire and enlighten you and hopefully make you want to get off the couch and explore our beautiful province and everything that it has to offer.

I spoke to local optometrist and eye-wear dealer Luke Deutschmann who shares some eye care tips. We celebrate the heroes from The Litterboom Project who are doing the most for our communities. Burn out coach Jacqui Meyer advises us on how to avoid the new year burn out by creating a worklife balance. In between all of those incredible stories, we have food, travel, shopping, movement and events that will keep you busy during your downtime.

I hope you enjoy this issue and find inspiration and information that enriches your everyday life.

Don’t forget to take a moment to pause, call your parents, meet with a friend for a coffee, find time for yourself and appreciate all the simple things in life.
