Letamo Lodge at QWABI Private Game Reserve in the Waterberg has opened its doors, inviting families to take advantage of the child-friendly safari offering while parents can enjoy romantic dining nooks or dinner in the outdoor boma, set under a shimmering night sky. Guests have plenty of amenities to choose from aside from the incredible game viewing, including a pampering treatment at the luxury spa, a high energy game or two on the padel court or simply enjoying a swim while overlooking the waterhole below.

GET GRILLED
Georgeís Grill House has opened its latest branch in Hyde Park Corner! Locals can now visit the modern steakhouse, which showcases prime cuts of beef, grilled to perfection. The ingredients used in the restaurant are of the highest quality, with wet-aged meat sourced from Chalmar Beef and dry-aged from Angus Beef before the in-house butchery continues the ageing process. So, what should you order? Try a wet-aged 600g sliced T-bone steak, pepper encrusted and served with mushroom and truffle sauce, or one of the delicious seafood, pasta or mezze dishes on the menu.
ROCK ‘ N ROLL
Counting Crows returns to South Africa for the Counting Crows: The Butter Miracle Tour! This is their fourth South African tour and the first since 2009, and fans of their soulful take on timeless rock & roll wonít want to miss out. The rockers are best known for their multi-platinum breakout album August and Everything After as well as the chart-topping Accidently in Love, recorded for the animated motion picture Shrek 2. The concert takes place on 14 April at the SunBet Arena, with tickets starting from R745.
SWOONWORTHY TEXTILES
Quirky ceramics company Rialheim recently celebrated its 10th anniversary and rounded off its first decade with a brand new textile collection to add to its growing lifestyle portfolio. Made in collaboration with artist and designer Tarien Bruwer, their maiden collection includes scatter cushions, textile designs and a dog bed fit for a king. The collection is exclusively made by local suppliers, woven with high quality yarns by SA’s incredible craft community and made to last as collector’s items.
