Sunday Society Picnics are back at The Maslow

Sunday Society Picnics are back at The Maslow, Sandton

Dress to impress and grab a bottle of bubbly at The Maslow, Sandton, the first Sunday starting October 2024.

Be filled with the joys of Spring as The Maslow’s Sunday Society picnics return on the first Sunday of every month from October. Laze on a picnic blanket and bask in the sunshine on The Maslow Sandton’s lush lawns while tucking into a basket packed with tempting eats for you to share with a friend or loved one.

The picnic basket for two costs R1 500 and includes a bottle of Graham Beck Cap Classique. Sip, and dine, and lie back, and relax to the sounds of live music.

Your mouth will water when you open your hamper, which has hot items of BBQ beef skewers, lamb koftas in rich tomato sauce, crispy pork belly with grilled apples, seafood paella, and sticky soy or spicy peri-peri chicken wings. Tuck into cold items such as fresh fruit skewers, herbed cous-cous salad and a mini cheese board with an artisanal bread station nearby. Finish with baked cheesecake, chocolate brownies and Red Velvet Opera Cake

Different themes

Dress to impress as each picnic is themed differently. On 6 October 2024, the dress code is African Ankara; 3 November is Tropical Havana; and 1 December is Boho – off-white and beige. The picnics are from 1 pm until 5 pm, with live entertainment starting at 2 pm.
