Purely Local CPT

I feel like the old woman in Titanic when I talk about winter this year (“It’s been 84 years!”) but honestly, it has been the longest winter that I can remember. But now that spring is finally here (admittedly, arriving in fits and starts) and the days are getting longer, it’s time to get outside and explore!

In this issue, we’ve highlighted a few amazing places to check out – from Hey Joe Brewery in Franschhoek to Arniston Hotel right at the Southernmost tip of Africa, there’s loads to keep you entertained. And if your feet are itching to get out the province, I highly recommend you read our travel feature from Chantelle Balsdon who takes her family on a once-in-a-lifetime safari trip to KZN. I promise that you’ll be booking your tickets ASAP!

There’s plenty more to read about, so we hope that you enjoy this issue as much as we enjoyed putting it together. As you know, we’re all about sharing the stories of local people and business that make Cape Town such an incredible city to live in – so please do let us know your news with us by dropping an email to or tagging us on social media.

Until next time,

Sarah
